The determination is based on whether the past membership time lapse is under or over two years.
Less than 2 years - reinstate and just pay past dues.
Over two years - need to reenroll just like a new member. Complete an applications and you will need to meet the new requirements of being a member 1 year and have signed up a Moose Member in the lodge or been a member 6 months and signed up 3 Lodge Moose Members. (If you reenroll, you retain your Moose Legion, Fellowship or Pilgrim Degrees.)

Transfers – The fee is still $10.00 payable to the
Moose Legion to which transfer is being made to.

As a reminder, elimination of the enrollment fee is good only from February 1st. through April 30th. So, at the start of our next fiscal year, the fees will be reinstated. For the Moose Legion the fee is $10.00 and for the lodge, the fee is $20.00. Thus, sign someone up by April 30, 2011 and save the $10 enrollment fee and pay only $20.00. Actually the new applications need to be transmitted before 10:00 PM that last Saturday of the month so don’t wait to the last minute!
However, the free dues for signing up two members will continue. Remember to sign them up it the same fiscal year. i.e., May 1st.-April 30th. For the Moose Legion application, make sure to include the Member Identification Number (MID)

In celebration of their new life together, Dave and Sheri hosted a grand wedding reception at the Freeport Moose Lodge 162 at 601 E. South St, Freeport, IL 61032. All were invited and over a hundred friends and family showed up for the buffet and dance on Saturday, October 23, 2010. The wedding party members were dressed in elegant fashions. The men wore black tuxedoes with shinny black shoes and the ladies colors were purple and pink except Sheri wore white of course. Music for dancing was provided by Hammer from Rochelle, IL after photographs were taken and most meals finished by about 6:00 pm. Seeing all the young folks in the wedding party was delightful and they complimented the young and old who attended. This celebration was well organized and allowed many to appreciate the ceremony and allowed for example; three generations of Snyders and others to come together again for this most joyous celebration. May true happiness and contentment be theirs forever!

Since our borrowed computer chashed in early September 2010, we were without connections to Moose International. After working with Mike at the Helpdesk for 3 hours, it was determinded that the LCL.net was never going to be operation without reloading the operating system. Thus, it was apparent that now was the time to buy our own computer. So, based on approval granted January 18, 2009, our new computer was purchased for $479.99 plus tax of $39.60 for a total of $519.59. There was also a labor charge of $99.99 to Staples to reload Windows XP Pro into the Secretaries own computer so the total charge was $619.59. However, since the prior approval was only for $600.00 the excess $19.58 was donated by the Secretary. This price was after the promotional discount of $120.00 so it was easy to decide this was the right computer for the Moose Legion. Our new desk top HP PC and Monitor-in-One is loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium, QuickBooks 7, LCL.net and a few other programs.
